Jay Mathews of WP says news coverage of education is fine

In his Jan. 18 article (http://tinyurl.com/ydxon4d), Jay Mattews reported that the Brookings Institution said only 1.4 percent of National news is on education. Mathews says local news fairs better. I think that’s good, readers need to be up on THEIR schools, they can have an influence there.
